Memorial leaves may be put on the tree throughout the month during open hours.

PurpleLight events are gatherings of individuals who have been
affected by pancreatic cancer. Survivors, their families and friends,
and those who have lost loved ones come together to honor survivors,
inspire hope for everyone touched by pancreatic cancer and remember
those who have passed. An important part of every PurpleLight
gathering is the sharing of personal stories and the illumination of
purple glow sticks as the names of those lost are read aloud. For

Delaware’s author Patricia Lewis Goodman will be selling and personalizing her first published book of poetry

“CLOSER TO THE GROUND”

This most personal and timely work concerns a  loved one’s suicide, how it affected her and her loved ones, and how she has survived and moved on.

 Delaware’s Artist Larry S. Andersonwill be signin g the image

“BRACKEN BARN”

portrayed on the book’s cover along with Ms. Goodman’s poem about the painting.

Executive Director Jim Lafferty of Mental Health Association in Delaware will be there to further discuss these and other issues.
